Getting started in Arcanum Idle: keep your side panel open while you browse — the mage fights on his own, and idle time is progress. Early on, spend everything on your primary spell before diversifying; a single upgraded spell clears waves faster than three weak ones. When wave progress stalls, that is the signal to prestige rather than grind — the permanent bonuses compound. Check back after long browsing sessions: offline gains bank while the panel is closed.
