The game

Ten chapters

From The First Light to The Beacon, each chapter a lattice to route the light across. The mountain does not entirely agree with itself.

No falling, no failing

There is no death and no timer. The only question is where the light goes next.

The ones you meet

The Watcher, The Gardener, The One Who Waited — twenty named figures on the way up, each with something to say.

Standalone sequel

Same ember, new geometry. You do not need to have played Emberkeep, though it helps to have met the fire.

Questions

Is Emberkeep Mountain free?

Yes. It runs in the browser at play.dhseadev.online with nothing to install and no account; the Chrome extension build it started as is not on the Chrome Web Store.

Do I need to play Emberkeep first?

No. Mountain is a standalone sequel with its own chapters and its own geometry.

Does it collect anything?

No. It makes no network requests of its own; the arcade’s shared play counts and star ratings are the only thing that leaves the page, and they carry no account or identity.

Change history

0.5.0 — the build in the arcade. Ported from the Chrome MV3 extension to run as an ordinary web page behind a shared storage shim, with the game source left unmodified. Live at the arcade since August 21, 2026.

Privacy Policy

The game stores its progress in your browser and makes no network requests of its own. No accounts, no telemetry, no analytics. The arcade page it runs on shares anonymous play counts and star ratings between visitors; nothing about you is attached to them.
